The Red Belt Polypore, also known as Red Banded Polypore, is stalkless and has a hard, 5 40 cm wide, flat, cap that is convex or hoof-shaped. The Red Belt Polypore habits dead trees, logs, stumps, and rarely living trees, with a preference of Spruce. It can be found during all seasons.
