The stalk is usually 8 cm high by 13 mm in width, and the pale gray gills become pink from maturing spores. This parasitic mushroom feeds on the Honey Mushroom. Aborted Entoloma can be found in a habitat of leaf littered ground or near rotting wood and stumps. It fruits in late Summer and Fall.
