ORANGE PEEL

The Orange Peel has no stalk, with a concave, cup-shaped cap. It is bright orange, 2-10 cm wide and grows in clusters. Its colouring may fade with age. Its flesh is thin and brittle. The reproductive spores are formed on the inner surface and tiny hairs giving off a whitish appearance. This mushroom prefers a habitat of disturbed soils, and fruits in Summer and Fall.
