The Conifer False Morel has a 5-11 cm broad, brain-like cap that is coloured various shades of brown. The stem is fairly small compared to the cap, measuring 3-6 cm high by 1-3 cm in thickness, with a hollow center and white colouring. The Conifer False Morel prefers a habitat of hardwoods and conifers.
