BRASSY MINNOW
Hybognathus hankinsoni
The Brassy Minnow is a fish having a normal length of 6-7 cm and is best at home in cooler ponds and small streams with marshy acidic conditions. Early spring this minnow can be found spawning in calm waters. The diet of this minnow consists of plants and algae. As with most minnows, one of its predators is man, favouring this fish for bait.
