The Brown Bullhead is a member of the Catfish family, and is commonly found hiding in warm, slow moving water. Averaging a length of about 35 cm, the Brown Bullheads belly is coloured white and its side varies from yellow into a brown colour on the top. After the spawning process, which occurs in warmer water conditions in May through June, the adults maintain a presence around the nest that is shaded or attached to a submerged object. Anglers favor this fish as it provides a flavourful meal..
